Terms of Service
Last updated: August 9, 2026
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the Sentinel RF service (the "Service"), operated by Stolz Telecom LLC ("Stolz," "we," "us"). By creating an account, starting a trial, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of the business you represent (the "Customer," "you"). The Service is offered to businesses only, not to consumers, and you represent that you have authority to bind your business.
1. The Service
Sentinel RF provides two-way radio dealers and integrators with source-cited answers drawn from the documents they upload plus a shared reference corpus; a suite of deterministic engineering calculators (such as link budgets, intermodulation studies, coax loss, coverage and propagation modeling, microwave path studies, and unit conversions); interactive coverage, propagation, and channel-search maps; airspace (TOWAIR) screening; lookups against copies of the FCC Universal Licensing System (ULS) and Antenna Structure Registration (ASR) databases with proactive license and area monitoring; and an administrative console for managing seats, usage, and billing.
2. Accounts and seats
- Subscriptions are sold per operation with a number of seats included in each plan. A seat is one named login for one individual. Credentials must not be shared between people.
- You may deactivate a user and assign that seat to another individual at any time from the admin console.
- You are responsible for the actions of everyone who uses the Service under your account and for keeping credentials secure.
3. Trials, fees, and billing
- New subscriptions begin with a free trial (currently 14 days), and no payment method is required to start one. A trial does not convert automatically: unless you add a payment method and begin a paid subscription before the trial ends, the trial simply expires and you are never charged.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Fees are exclusive of any applicable taxes, which are your responsibility.
- Seat changes made mid-period are prorated. The admin console shows the effect on your next invoice before you confirm a change.
- If a renewal payment fails, we will retry it and notify you. While payment is outstanding we may place your account in a read-only state. If payment is not recovered, we may cancel the subscription.
- We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice; changes take effect at your next renewal after the notice period.
4. Your content
- You retain all rights to the documents, questions, and other material you submit to the Service ("Customer Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, index, and display Customer Content solely to provide the Service to you.
- You are responsible for having the legal right to upload and use the documents you submit, including service manuals and other copyrighted material. Do not upload material you are not entitled to hold and use.
- Customer Content is isolated per operation. We do not share your library with other customers and we do not use it to answer another customer's questions.
- We do not use Customer Content to train machine-learning models.
5. Acceptable use
Use of the Service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these Terms.
6. Professional responsibility disclaimer
The Service is a support tool for qualified technicians and operation staff. It is not an engineer of record, it does not provide professional engineering services, and its output is not a substitute for the judgment of a qualified person.
- Answers cite the source documents they are drawn from. You are responsible for verifying cited material against the current revision of the applicable manual for the equipment and serial range in front of you before acting on it.
- Calculator results depend entirely on the inputs provided. Verify inputs and apply field judgment.
- Designs affecting life safety or public safety, and any work requiring a licensed professional engineer, must be reviewed and approved by an appropriately licensed engineer. The Service will remind you of this; the responsibility remains yours.
- Radio-frequency work involves real hazards, including RF exposure, tower work, and high voltage. Follow applicable safety regulations and your own safety procedures at all times.
7. FCC license data
License lookups are served from our copy of the FCC Universal Licensing System public records, refreshed on a regular schedule. That copy may lag the FCC's live records. It is provided for convenience and reference; verify against the FCC's own systems before relying on it for filings, deadlines, or legal purposes.
8. Availability and support
We work to keep the Service available and useful, and we provide support by email during normal business hours. The Service is provided without a guaranteed service level. We may modify features over time, and we will not materially reduce the core functionality you paid for during a paid term without notice.
9. Intellectual property
We retain all rights in the Service, including software, the shared reference corpus we author, and our trademarks. These Terms grant you no rights in any of them except the right to use the Service during your subscription.
10. Confidentiality
Each party will protect the other's non-public information with at least the care it uses for its own similar information, and will use it only as needed to perform under these Terms. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Addendum.
11. Term, cancellation, and data deletion
- You may cancel at any time from the admin console or the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
- After cancellation takes effect, we retain your Customer Content for 30 days so you can reactivate, then permanently delete your documents and indexed content. You can export your data from the admin console at any time before deletion.
- We may suspend or terminate the Service for material breach of these Terms, including violation of the Acceptable Use Policy, or for non-payment as described above.
12. Warranties and disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANSWERS, CALCULATIONS, OR LICENSE DATA WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR COMPLETE.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER PARTY WILL BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR REVENUE. EACH PARTY'S TOTAL LIABILITY UNDER THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS PAID BY THE CUSTOMER FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY. THESE LIMITS DO NOT APPLY TO A PARTY'S INDEMNIFICATION OBLIGATIONS, BREACH OF CONFIDENTIALITY, OR LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.
14. Indemnification
You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from Customer Content you upload without sufficient rights or from your violation of law or these Terms. We will defend and indemnify you against third-party claims that the Service, as provided by us, infringes their intellectual-property rights.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will give at least 30 days' notice by email to the account owner. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
16. Governing law and general
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Oklahoma. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. These Terms, together with the policies they reference, are the entire agreement between the parties regarding the Service.
